Endangered pine trees caused by global warming in Australia
Climate change negatively impacts the global environment, economy, and communities. let's take a look at Australia as an example, being designated as one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change. Rainfall, temperatures, bushfire frequency, health, heritage and biodiversity in Australia are now all facing great challenges. You would be totally wrong if you think all this have nothing to do with our person life, on the contrary, climate change is affecting our person life with an astonishingly fast speed.

Reliable estimates are that by 2030 Australia will face:
  • up to 20 per cent more months of drought
  • a further 1 degree Celcius of warming in temperatures
  • up to 25 per cent increase in days of very high or extreme fire danger
  • increases in storm surges and severe weather events
If these facts are not yet made you scared, let's take a close look at the climate change impacts on human life:
Baseball bats are made from ash trees, but a combination of killer beetles and global warming is causing the plant in danger of disappearing. Could you imagine the world without baseball games?
The Pine Bark Beetle, which feeds on and kills pine trees, used to be held in control by cold winter temperatures. Now the species is  thriving and killing off entire forests in British Columbia. Therefore, we might need to say goodbye to all our christmas trees.
Warmer weather allowed Spruce Bark Beetles to live longer, hardier lives in the forests of Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, where they killed off a section of spruce forest the size of Connecticut. You had better head to Alaska for vacation right away.

Sounds horrible? What can be do to relatively stop climate change?
Start with driving less, planting a tree in your back yard or replacing a regular light bulb with a compact fluorescent one, there are a lot to be discovered to be done that can greatly improve the global climate. The world needs your help!
